Frequently Asked Booking Questions
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 4 to 6 weeks before your intended trekking date, especially during peak dry seasons in January, February, August, and September. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible but availability is not guaranteed.
What is included in the trek price?
All our packages are all-inclusive: KWS park fees, professional guides, porters, cooks, all meals on the mountain, camping equipment, sleeping bags, and first aid supplies. Transport to and from the gate can be arranged for an additional fee or included in premium packages.
Do I need prior climbing experience?
No technical climbing experience is required to reach Point Lenana (4,985m), the trekking summit. You should be in good general fitness and able to walk 5 to 7 hours per day with a daypack. We recommend cardio training for at least 6 weeks before your trek.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the trek start date receive a full refund minus a small administrative fee. Cancellations 15 to 30 days out receive a 50% refund. Within 14 days, we offer date changes subject to availability. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.
Can I do a custom or private trek?
Absolutely. Most of our treks are private departures tailored to your group size, fitness level, and preferred route. Whether you are a solo trekker, a couple, or a corporate team, we design a custom itinerary and provide a detailed quote within 24 hours of your inquiry.
